Welcoming A New Voice

Hi everyone!
As you may know, this blog hasn't been updated in a while and we would like to change that! Our dear friend, Richard MacDonald, will be writing some posts for us! Professionally, Richard is a chartered accountant (CA) but he also has a great love for jewellery. He is an avid collector of signed antique jewellery and all kinds of jewellery related books. As you well know, jewellery is part of the larger umbrella of fashion. Richard loves learning about new/upcoming trends and how to perceive the trends for wearability, which colours will go together nicely, et cetera.

P.S. The ring featured here is one we projected together. The opal in the ring is from Ethiopia and was supplied by Richard. We came up with the design together and set yellow diamonds to offset the opal beautifully in 18kt yellow gold. It took a week to make this ring.
